Dakotah Baker

Officer Baker is a graduate of St. Bede Academy in Peru. He attended Western Illinois University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration with a minor in Homeland Security. He started out his Law Enforcement career by working at the LaSalle County Detention Home as a Juvenile Detention Officer in 2020. He was then hired as a Sheriff’s Deputy for the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office in 2020. After four years at the Sheriff’s Office, he lateraled to the Oglesby Police Department as a patrolman. He currently serves as one of the departments Taser Instructors.
